The Division of Sustainable
Energy and Environmental makes comprehensive and systematic efforts
against with the depletion and degradation of environment, energy
and resources, the greatest challenge faced by human being, in order
to solve global issues and conduct research and education for the
development of sustainable environment.
After properly identifying the location of an issue, we build a necessary
academic principle and theory and set a roadmap for solving the issue,
and exploit a new field of academia and teach academic subjects in
a systematic manner with an attitude of developing technical systems
in the real world.
The primary stage of doctor course widely accepts progressive students
and working people that try to challenge this human issue as well
as the students that completed a department concerning environment
or energy.
This graduate school provides education that encourages the above
students and people to firstly discover issues and develop future-oriented
thinking.
In addition, students that completed basic academic and technical
subjects also receive such education.
Next, the Division offers its own educational system, under which
the students can select two of various programs (environmental management,
coexistence environment design, recycled materials and resources system,
Sustainable Energy System, Preservation of Sustainable Environmental
System, Quantum and Energy, environmental risk management) and complete
them in consonance with double-major learning targets.
Through these programs, we help them to deepen their knowledge and
skills in their own specialized areas and develop the above interdisciplinary
subjects and management capabilities.
